The large majority of my earrings are made with polymer clay. Polymer clay is super light and comfortable to wear. It is essentially PVC that has been formed and then cured to a solid state. Metals: Posts and hooks for all of my earrings are meant to be kind to your ears. I use niobium or titanium for my posts (see each listing) for the ultimate in hypoallergenic comfort. Hooks can be the same or also sterling silver or gold-filled wire. I hand-form all of my posts and hooks here in the studio. As for connection pieces that don't get inserted into your ears, I use a variety of metals to get the desired look. If you have strong sensitivities, reach out and we can talk about ensuring everything on your piece is comfortable for you. Wood Earrings: My wood earring start with an original work on Baltic birch wood crafted with artist-grade acrylic paint and sealed with a smooth and protective semi-gloss finish of water-based varnish.

Keep them safe. Store your earrings in a cool, dark, airtight container to keep the metals at their best. Keep them dry. Don't shower or swim in these beauties. Keep them clean. If your make-up or natural oils get on the earrings, a wipe with a damp cloth should do the trick. If not, a gentle swipe with some rubbing alcohol can help with stains. Keep them. Use the backing provided. With earrings this light, you might not realize if they fall out as your live your life!

Ummm...noooope. For the most part, my earrings are SUPER lightweight. I love an extravagant earring that is as lux in comfort as it is in look. That said, sometimes the moment demands a piece that leans a little heavier than the rest...but even those will be relatively light to your average over-the-top earring.

Every item ships from my home studio in Welland, Ontario, Canada.

After you place your order, I personally pull your pieces and construct each earring using your chosen finish. Your items will travel safe and sound in either a padded mailer or cardboard box via Canada Post tracked shipping.

Depending on where in the world you are, the average order takes 1-4 weeks between leaving my studio and arriving at your door.

All orders are tracked and insured. A tracking number will be emailed for each order as soon as it has left my studio.

Shipping is calculated at check out. As a general rule, shipping is between $15-20 CDN depending on your location.

I work hard to capture the perfectly imperfect beauty of each piece in product photos to ensure you love the art you're buying. For that reason, I don't offer refunds on purchased pairs.
